Kollabry for Outlook

Turn emails into tracked work.

Requests, bug reports and follow-ups arrive by email and get lost. The Kollabry add-in turns an email into a ready-to-review ticket in seconds, and keeps the link back to it.

AI DRAFT

A ticket from any email

Open an email and choose Create Kollabry Ticket. AI drafts the title, a description with acceptance criteria, type, priority, due date, space and a suggested assignee.

CONTROL

Nothing happens without you

Every field is editable and nothing is created until you press Create. You can only use spaces you’re a member of.

TRACEABLE

Linked to the email, no duplicates

The ticket links back to the email. Kollabry warns when the email or a similar issue is already tracked, and replies in the thread can be added as comments.

OPTIONAL

Inbox suggestions

Connect your mailbox and Kollabry suggests tickets for new emails that ask for something. You create or dismiss each suggestion.

Install it

1

Add it to Outlook

In Outlook on the web open aka.ms/olksideload → My add-ins → Custom add-ins → Add from URL, and paste the manifest URL below.

2

Open an email

Choose Create Kollabry Ticket on the ribbon, or under Apps / “…” in the reading pane.

3

Sign in once

Sign in with your Kollabry account (Microsoft sign-in works). Review the draft and press Create.

For Microsoft 365 admins: deploy it to your organisation from the admin centre → Settings → Integrated apps → Upload custom apps → Office Add-in → “Provide link to the manifest file”, then choose who gets it. It can take up to 24 hours to appear.

Requirements & pricing

  • A Kollabry account and membership of at least one space.
  • Kollabry is free for teams of up to 5 people, then $5 per user per month. The add-in is included; there’s no extra charge for it. Pricing
  • AI drafts use your workspace’s AI allowance. Workspaces can add their own Anthropic key for unlimited use, billed by Anthropic.

Privacy & permissions

  • The add-in reads only the email you open it on (read-item permission). It never sends, moves or deletes mail.
  • Kollabry stores a link to the email (message id, subject, sender name, a hashed sender address and the date), not the email itself. Only text you keep in the ticket is saved.
  • When AI is on, the email text is sent to our AI provider to produce the draft.
  • Inbox suggestions are opt-in, read-only, and can be disconnected at any time.

Help & support

Which versions of Outlook are supported?

Outlook on the web, new Outlook for Windows, classic Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365, 2019 or later) and Outlook for Mac. Very old versions that use the Internet Explorer engine show a message asking you to use Outlook on the web instead.

I can’t find “Custom add-ins” in Outlook.

Your organisation has turned off installing add-ins yourself. Ask your Microsoft 365 admin to deploy it for you from the admin centre (steps above).

The button doesn’t appear on an email.

Open a received email (not a draft). In some layouts the button is under Apps, or the “…” menu in the reading pane.

It says I’m not a member of any space.

Ask a space lead in Kollabry to add you to a space. The add-in only creates tickets in spaces you belong to.

The draft says AI is unavailable.

You still get a plain draft from the subject and text, and everything else works. Your workspace admin can check the AI allowance or add an AI key in Kollabry → Integrations.

How do I sign out or disconnect?

Choose Disconnect at the top of the add-in. To revoke its access completely, open Kollabry → Settings → API access (or Integrations → Outlook) and revoke the “Outlook add-in” token.

Still stuck? Contact the Kollabry team and tell us your Outlook version and what you see.
